With a background in traditional art, Ameera Watley is a future cartoonist and filmmaker whose stories that blur the line between fantasy and reality pushes animation to new heights using alternative modes of storytelling. and visual experimentation

After several years of working at LAIKA Studios, Ameera has embarked on a new journey creating her own small animation studio that specializes in short-films.

With her strength in character design and building, she has allowed us to look at the world through the eyes of another and relate our experienes to those constructed in her worlds.
